Autumn Stovetop Potpourri

I LOVE the crisp smell of Autumn air, when the temps start dropping, leaves are changing, and the wind starts blowing. This is the optimal time to start a batch of homemade potpourri on the stove top to let simmer all day long. You’ll have your house smelling SO good, and you’ll want to cozy up with the a warm blanket, fuzzy socks, and a fire.

Autumn Stovetop Potpourri

3 sliced apples
3 sliced oranges
3-5 bay leaves
2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
2 tbsp of whole cloves
1 tsp of vanilla
1-2 cinnamon sticks (or a sprinkle of powder)

Add all ingredients to a large pot filled about half way of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer on back burner on the stove. Allow mixture to simmer all day, adding more water if necessary.
