A Little About Me

Hey there, I’m Holly! I’m happy you’re here with me in this little corner of the internet. I began this blog as a way to share things about child development and learning ideas, cooking, gardening, and overall homemaking (everything I love). When I became a mother, my urge to create a home for my babies fell into place. I love to create fun learning activities for my kids, while giving you a few ideas to put in your back pocket. I enjoy being in my garden and working outside, in the warmer months, and cooking comfort meals and embracing the joy in the holidays in the colder season. I hope you join my homemaking adventures on Instagram.

I am a Midwest gal, happily married with three littles. I am so grateful to currently have the opportunity to be at home with my babes full time. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Psychology of Human Development, from Ball State University (Chirp, chirp!). Little humans fascinate me, which is why I have a huge passion for educating them. I find joy in creating activities and learning opportunities for my littles, growing life in the garden, and bringing that life to the dinner table. I feel like the art of homemaking is slowly getting lost in the hustle and bustle of our current society, and I will forever try and keep that root grounded in my family’s home.

I believe each day is a gift, and everyone has a purpose here on Earth. We are all just trying to figure out what that is by making one beautiful mess at a time. Please reach out with any questions you might have, or just to say “hey”!
